Applications
It can be used in the food flavor formula to prepare bean flavor, fruit flavor, cream, coconut, caramel, cinnamon and other flavors. IFRA prohibits the use of dihydrocoumarin in daily chemical flavor formulations because of its allergic effects on the skin. A 20% solution of dihydrocoumarin has an irritating effect on human skin.
