Fructone is an ultimately biodegradable, fragrance ingredient. It has a strong, fruity and exotic odor. The olfactory factor is described as pineapple, strawberry and apple-like note with a woody aspect reminding of sweet pine.

Applications
Fructone is used for blending floral and fruity fragrances for daily use. It contains BHT as stabilizer. This ingredient shows good soap stability. Fructone is used in fragrances, cosmetics and personal care formulations.
