1603C iscationic polymer derived from nature guar bean. It is widely used as conditioner, static reducer and lather enhancer in personal care products.

1603C is specially designed for clear formulation. It is compatible with most common anionic, cationic and amphoteric surfactants and is ideally suitable for use in two-in-one conditioning shampoos and moisturizing skin cleansing products. When used in personal cleansing formulations, 1603C imparts a soft, elegant after-feel to the skin and also enhances wet comb and dry comb properties to shampoos and hair conditioning systems.

Guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride is an organic compound that is a water-soluble quaternary ammonium derivative of guar gum. It gives conditioning properties to shampoos and after-shampoo hair care products. Although a great conditioning agent for both skin and hair, guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride is especially beneficial as a hair care product. Because it is positively charged, or cationic, it neutralizes the negative charges on hair strands that cause hair to become static or tangled. Better yet, it does this without weighing hair down. With this ingredient, you can have silky, non-static hair that retains its volume.

Storage

1603C should be stored in a cool, dry location away from heat, sparks or fire.

When not in use, the container should be kept closed to prevent moisture and dust contamination.

We recommend that normal precautions be taken to avoid ingestion or contact with eyes. Respiratory protection should be used to avoid dust inhalation. Good industrial hygiene practices should be followed.
